Your Story Isn’t Over
It’s easy to fall into this trap after a loved one has died. ‘How is life worth living if they’re not here? What’s my purpose?’ God’s not done with you. Keep His path for your life in focus and follow it. Your life still has purpose. Turn the grave into gardens.
I have been struggling with this since Gina’s passing. I keep asking God: ‘What now?’ I am confident He has a good plan but I’m anxious to know what it is and how to do it right.
I just have to remind myself to trust Him. To trust Him with every second. Take it day by day. There’s no rush to His plan. I allow myself to grieve but I recognize that I am still here. I’m alive. I have to fill this wonderful life with amazing experiences and find my purpose.
I want to remind you that it’s okay to be confused. It’s okay to feel like you have no idea what’s going on. This is because God knows. Your life is right on track. So stop worrying, and start living for your loved ones who have passed while also glorifying the Lord. - Dinah Schaffer
